In the case of this type of equipment one might expect a rather simple, not very extensive configuration. It turns out that the standard netbook equipped with a system OS Google Chromium (Google wants the margin, as in the case of your smartphone, showcase your own computer / s) costing around $ 300 will receive a 10.1 “screen with ARM processor and NVIDIA Tegra (probably second generation) . What’s more 10 inch is to be completely fair resolution – 1280 x 720 pixels.

Besides will be equipped with a 64GB SSD, WiFi, 2GB RAM, an integrated 3G module, Bluetooth, Ethernet port, webcam, 3.5mm audio jack, card reader, 4 or 6 cell battery and optional GPS. That’s all for about $ 300? Already $ 200 (the cheapest option netbook) we’ll buy a computer with basic components mentioned above. Perhaps such a low price due to the fact offer subscriptions? Some sources say a similar idea to sell devices with ChromeOS to what Nokia is doing with its 3G booklet. So the idea of cheap, small computer to the internet and (in this specific case) media has a real chance of realization? Google informs about the work on such platforms, operating under the control of its first computer operating system, such as Fusion Garage Joojoo or tablet. Could approaching a very serious competitor to the current monopoly in this market segment – Intel platform with its nuclear?

Wii sales dropped again, and it seems that a successor must be getting ready, something that will ensure Nintendo’s new cash advance. The best way to draw attention to themselves, sales of high return is to present a completely new console. Apparently Nintendo, together with Intel leading the serious discussions on the components of the new ‘Zia’. Speculation is that what did not work out for Intel to personal computers, namely the long-awaited and recently alleged the project’s Larrabee graphics chip, will the form of a unit of the GPU / CPU for Nintendo’s new toy. We are talking about speculation and not confirmed the news, but note that Chipzilla has invested considerable money in developing Larrabee and may seek to recover part of the funds invested in the project.

Nintendo’s choice for such a partner means the one hand, a break with the practice of ordering graphics chips from manufacturers specializing in this type of product, which is a certain risk. On the other hand, one system (or platform developed by one manufacturer) is able to build low-cost hardware, something that is the strength of the Wii – a console, which has earned for itself (hardware) since the appearance of the first copies on store shelves.

Panasonic is a company that is optimistic about the future. Despite the economic problems of the corporation just finished building a factory in Amagasaki – a facility which will be formed the largest plasma screens. Start of production means the introduction of for-sale 150 inch plasmas – the absolute record-holders for the size of the models offered on the market for TV (for the individual customer). These enormous TV sets are derived from the feedstock, which could produce 9 sets of size 50 ‘! In other words, a single glass substrate can be given a single 150-inch screen, or nine standard, 50 inch panels. Well, the price 150-inch TV just can not be low. In the case of smaller PDP factory in Amagasaki are capable of producing one million plasma sets. It is worth mentioning that the 150-inch screen, measured 330cm on 190cm (381cm diagonal). The significance of such a giant of the whole will exceed half a ton. The device displays an image with a resolution of 4096 x 2160 (4K2K), and 3D. The full commissioning will take place in the first quarter of 2010.

The company has already manifested signs of interest in this type of equipment. It seems that those interest are transformed into the finished prototype device currently being tested in China. Source claims that this is a simple reader, the device relatively inexpensive to manufacture, which may mean (hopefully) low price market. Really cheap reader is still wishful thinking leads. For now, readers are either expensive or offer a very poor option (screen too small, poorly legible printing).

Lenovo sees the gap and wants to fill it (according to the source). Whether the equipment actually be cheap and just as important will offer appropriate functionality (for convenience, rather than raising the price of fireworks) we shall perhaps soon. Lenovo certainly informs the work, and may show a finished prototype (s) on the upcoming fair in Las Vegas. Cheap, simple, functional reader – or so difficult? The opposite is stated in the image X61T.

The latest album Michael Pabisek examined whether a very small sum of money, you can expect a decent sound. Cheap (very) 5.1 speaker Genius of our reviewers had a good first impression. Speakers Genius SW-HF5.1 5050 as a test of character is tested both as a surround system and in stereo. If you are curious whether the ‘cheap and good’ is an audio (computer) can, then it is not me nothing but invite you to read our latest reviews …

As I have already written once, the Genius has never stood out on the market, especially the quality of products offered. Periphery of this producer were seen for a long time (and still are) as a decent, though sometimes the ambition to start a fight with the best on the market (eg, a gaming mouse). However, products which the company is in the most recent of all colors are associated audio kits designed primarily for computer users, both in terms of stereo, 2.1 and 5.1. As it turned out sound systems, to include the Genius users odsłuchujący music from portable or stationary audio player, and later a home cinema users. All this because of the very positive attitude of its affordable price to above-average performance and sound quality. Many models of the Genius brand was made of wood, and the quality of the materials and manner of execution testified that the company once again has the ambition to provide the holders of PC (and not only) a very good equipment at a decent price. But the most important distinguishing feature sets that the business was the sound quality offered by the sound.
